Waitress

*****

I really enjoyed the start and middle of this #movie. It's quirky feel reminded me of 'Raising Arizona' or 'Fargo', both films which I love. Its basically a movie about female companionship and comradery. The main actors were great. Its funny, witty...

Zohan - Irreverent Yet Hilarious

*****

You Don't Mess With The Zohan was released in Ireland today, so I escaped the damp weather by seeking refuge this evening in my local cinema. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from Sandler. I knew it was a comedy about an Israeli commando who wants...

Wall-E

*****

A shocking disappointment for me and my kids. After all the hype, this competes with Ratatouille as the worst movie Pixar has ever made. Boring...

Mamma Mia

A guilty pleasure. Best to dive straight in and enjoy singing along to the ABBA songs. Cast clearly had a laugh. (Though cd barely watch Pierce Brosnan singing). Most of ye wd hate it ;~)

Kung Fu Panda

Predictable but very entertaining animated martial arts kids' #movie. Humourous #film that romps along. Good fun.
